Scientist International Organization (SIO) is the world leading non-profit organization working in the core areas of supporting young scientists, science teachers and science learning institutions all over the world. In Africa SIO is working in partnership with the Ministry of Education in south sudan to implement two projects titled “ Project Science in South Sudan and Research on Challenges facing secondary schools in south sudan. To achieve the set objectives SIO is looking forward to recruit various intellectuals from African countries to help in the implementation of the projects.

1. Project Title: Project Science in South Sudan
Job Title: Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics)
Job Station: Juba, South Sudan. Available Positions: 50 Teachers
Roles and Responsibilities
· Preparing lesson plans as directed by the syllabus in the respective country
· Complies with state administrative regulations and Board of Education policies
· Adheres to school and local school system procedures and rules
· Conducts assigned classes at the times scheduled
· Enforces regulations concerning student conduct and discipline
· Demonstrates timeliness and attendance for assigned responsibilities
· Provides adequate information, plans, and materials for substitute teacher
· Maintains accurate, complete, and appropriate records and files reports promptly
· Preparing weekly and monthly reports and ensure timely submission of reports to the administration
· Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils' progress and development;
Qualifications
· A holder of diploma and degree in education, chemistry, biology, science, physics and teaching methodology
· Has two years’ experience in data collection, interview, and social works
· Fresh graduates can apply but upon approval they will have to attend capacity building training
· Must be willing and available to work in Sudan and Ethiopia.
· Two years project management experience community development works
· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· Proposal writing
· Computer application skills..
· Experience in working with donor funded projects.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili, including report writing.
· Excellent networking and organizational skills
Salary and other Benefits
Monthly salary package is $1200, The organization also provides house, security and social service protection to all the employees.

2. Project Title: Research on Challenges facing Sudanese Secondary Schools
Job Title: Assistant Research Officers/ Interviewers
Job Station: Juba, South Sudan Available Positions: 20 Positions
Contract Duration: 2 Years
Roles and Responsibilities
· Assist in planning, designing and implementing research projects
· Prepare and coordinate coding procedures, and perform interpretive coding of quantitative and non-quantitative survey data.
· Collect, compile data, and conduct analysis of qualitative and quantitative responses to survey questions or other research data.
· Assist researchers in preparing plan and budget for research projects
Qualifications
· A holder of diploma and degree in education, sociology, history, community development, research methodology
· Applicant with master degree in social science subjects will have an added advantage
· Has twoyears’ experience in data collection, interview, and social works
· Must be willing and available to work in Sudan and Ethiopia.
· Two years project management experience community development works
· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
